TEHRAN – The United Nation’s special coordinator for Lebanon is scheduled to travel to Tehran on Monday.

During her two-day visit, Sigrid Kaag will meet a number of officials from the Iranian Foreign Ministry, including Deputy Foreign Minister for African and Arab Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari, Mehr reported on Saturday.

Kaag has announced that after Iran, she will possibly travel to Saudi Arabia and Russia as well.

The reason for the trips is to discuss some necessary issues, she has said.
